DAY Function To Extract Day From Date In Excel
DEFINITION:- Day Function Returns The Day From A Valid Given Date Or Represented By A Serial Number Of A Date. The Output Will Be As A Numeric Value Between 1 To 31. The Day Function Is Used To Extract A Day Number From A Valid Given Date Or Represented By A Serial Number Of A Date.
EXAMPLE:- If The Provided Date Is 25Th Dec 2020 Or A Serial Number (44190) That Represent The Date 25Th Dec 2020 As Input In The Day Function, It Will Return 25.
INPUT METHOD:- We Can Provide A Reference To A Day Function In Three Different Ways (1) Serial Numbers (2) Valid Date Values Returned From Other Excel Functions (3) Reference To Cells That Contains Valid Dates.
NOTE:- DAY() Function Will Return #Value Error If Provided Date Is Not A Valid Date.
